Definition
Mira a alguien o algo durante mucho tiempo sin mover los ojos. A menudo se usa cuando la mirada es intensa, curiosa o incluso grosera.

Suele usarse cuando la mirada es incómoda o intensa. Va frecuentemente con 'at' ('stares at someone'). Puede ser neutral, de curiosidad o negativo. No confundir con 'glance' (mirada rápida) o 'gaze' (más suave o neutral).
