Definition

যখন কোনো কিছু যুক্তিসঙ্গত বা স্বাভাবিক বলে মনে হয়, তখন সেটিকে বোঝাতে এই কথাটি ব্যবহার করা হয়। সাধারণভাবে কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত বা ধারণা স্পষ্ট বা প্রত্যাশিত হলে বলা হয়।

সাধারণত 'It stands to reason that...' এর মতো কাঠামোয় ব্যবহৃত হয়। চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত বা যুক্তিযুক্ত ব্যাখ্যা দিতে উপযোগী। আবেগের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করবেন না।
