“Splitting” 指将某物分成两部分或多部分，可以指物理上分开，也可以指分组或分段。

既可正式也可口语用。常与“up”搭配（如“splitting up the group”分组），也可描述剧烈疼痛（“splitting headache”）。注意不要与“spilling”混淆（意思是泼洒）。
