スプライスとは、ロープやワイヤー、フィルムなどをつなぎ合わせて一本にすることです。

工学や映像編集、航海分野などでよく使われます。'rope splices'（ロープの継ぎ目）や 'film splices'（フィルムの継ぎ目）など。人や抽象的な物の結合には使いません。
