自分の好きなことや日常の小さな買い物に使えるお金のことです。子供にあげるお金や、自由に使えるお金を指すこともあります。

「spending money」はカジュアルな場面で使われ、「楽しく使うお金」や「日常の小遣い」として用いられます。光熱費や貯蓄には使いません。
