スペラー綴り手

Definition

単語の綴りを書ける人、特にスペリングコンテストに参加する人や、綴りを学んでいる人のこと。

主に教育の場やスペリングコンテスト（スペリングビー）で使われる語です。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。子供や大人、どちらにも使えますが、学習文脈が多いです。

The best spellers win a prize at the competition.

コンテストで一番優れた**スペラー**が賞をもらいます。

There are ten spellers in the final round.

決勝ラウンドには十人の**スペラー**がいます。
