Definition

「spears」は「spear（槍）」の複数形で、投げたり突いたりするのに使う長く尖った武器のこと。狩猟や戦いで使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

普通は歴史的な武器を指すが、野菜の細長い部分（例：アスパラガス）を指すこともある。動詞（刺す）としては使わない。
