무언가를 찾거나 정리하기 위해 물건을 꼼꼼히 살피는 것. 중요한 것과 그렇지 않은 것을 구분할 때 자주 사용된다.

일상적으로 자주 쓰이며, 물건이나 이메일 정리에 많이 쓴다. 'sort out'은 문제 해결의 뉘앙스도 있으니 구분 필요.
