Quedarse completamente mojado, especialmente por la lluvia, hasta el punto de tener la ropa y la piel empapadas.

Expresión idiomática y algo exagerada, se usa sobre todo cuando te mojas mucho por la lluvia. Muy habitual: 'calarse hasta los huesos'. No se usa para mojarse un poco.
