Definition

'Snuffs' 'snuff' का तीसरा एकवचन रूप है। इसका अर्थ है नाक से झटके से सूंघना, या मोमबत्ती या दीपक बुझाना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मोमबत्ती या दीपक को बुझाने के लिए औपचारिक रूप में उपयोग होता है। 'Suffs' (सूंघता है) के रूप में, इसका उपयोग अब कम प्रचलित है। 'Sniffs' से न confund करें, जो केवल सूंघने के लिए है। 'Snuff out' अंग्रेज़ी में रूपक भी हो सकता है।
