Definition

風によって集められた雪が積もってできる大きな山やかたまりのこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に雪が多い地域や冬の表現で使う。「深い雪の吹き溜まり」や「雪の吹き溜まりに閉じ込められる」などのフレーズでよく出る。スコップで集めた雪ではなく、自然に風が集めた雪を指す。
