끈적이고 미끄러운 느낌의 점액 같은 물질로, 자연에서 발견되기도 하고, 아이들이 갖고 노는 장난감으로도 사용된다.

'슬라임'은 자연에서 보는 점액이거나 장난감일 수 있다. 장난감일 때는 색이 다양하고 어린이가 주로 사용한다.
