自宅以外で夜を過ごすこと。多くは外や普段寝ていない場所で寝ること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語や日常会話で使われます。外や普段と違う場所で寝ることで、'sleep over'（友達の家などで寝る）とは異なります。
