아주 오랫동안, 보통 하루 종일 또는 24시간 내내 자는 것. 주로 피로나 병 때문에.

비공식적이고 과장된 표현임. 주로 매우 피곤하거나 아플 때 오랜 시간 자는 것을 표현. 짧은 낮잠 등에는 쓰지 않음.

After the long flight, he wanted to sleep around the clock.
