Definition

'Slanders' বলতে একাধিক মিথ্যা বা ভিত্তিহীন অপবাদ বোঝায় যা কাউকে অপমান বা তার সুনাম নষ্ট করার জন্য বলা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

আইনি বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'spread slanders', 'accuse of slanders', 'respond to slanders' ইত্যাদি শব্দগুচ্ছের সাথে আসে। 'libel' (লিখিত অপবাদ) এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
