スキーヤーとは、スキー板を履いて雪の上を滑る人のことです。スポーツや娯楽として行います。

「スキーヤー」は男女問わず、初心者から上級者まですべての人に使われます。「beginner skier」「professional skier」などの表現と一緒によく使われます。単に「ski」は競技や道具を指すので区別しましょう。
