Definition
Sentar-se num local específico, como uma mesa, secretária ou outro sítio. Dá ênfase ao local onde se está sentado, não apenas ao ato de se sentar.

'Sit at' é usado com móveis (mesa, secretária, computador) e locais específicos (janela, frente). Diz-se 'sit at the table', não 'sit on the table'. Não confundir com 'sit on' (em cima de algo).
