Definition

কিছু যখন পানির নিচে চলে যায় বা নিচে নামতে থাকে তাকে বলা হয় ডুবছে। এটি ব্যর্থতা বা পরিস্থিতি খারাপ হওয়ার ইঙ্গিত দিতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'ডুবছে' সাধারণত পানিতে বা ম্যাটারিয়ালে কিছু নিমজ্জিত হওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'a sinking ship'। তবে এটি অনুভূতি বা পরিস্থিতির খারাপ অবস্থার জন্যও বলা হয়, যেমন 'a sinking feeling'।
