सiluettes वो गहरे आकार या बाहरी रेखाएँ होती हैं जो किसी हल्के पृष्ठभूमि के सामने दिखती हैं, जिसमें सिर्फ रूपरेखा दिखती है, विवरण नहीं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मुख्यतः कला, फोटोग्राफी और कहानियों में आता है। यह मुख्य रूप से आकार पर ध्यान देता है, विवरण नहीं दिखाता। 'Shadow' (छाया) से अलग है, जो रोशनी को रोकने से बनती है। आमतौर पर बहुवचन में मिलता है। आम वाक्यांश: 'in silhouette'।
