Plural de 'sign'. Pode ser um aviso ou símbolo com informação, ou algo que mostra que algo está acontecendo ou é verdade.

É muito usado em dois sentidos: 'signs' físicos, como placas ou sinais, e 'signs' abstratos, como indícios. A estrutura 'signs of' é muito comum: 'signs of stress', 'signs of rain'. Não confunda com o verbo 'signs', que significa 'assina'.
