Definition
Shutoff, su, gaz veya elektrik akışını kontrol veya güvenlik amacıyla durduran cihaz veya işlemdir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle teknik, mühendislik ve güvenlik alanlarında kullanılır. Sıkça 'emergency shutoff', 'shutoff valve', 'automatic shutoff' kalıplarında geçer. Fiil olarak kullanılmaz; 'shut off the gas' denir.
