Definition

紙や他の素材を小さく裁断する機械。主に機密書類を処分するために使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「シュレッダー」はオフィスの紙裁断機が一般的ですが、他の素材にも使われます。人を指すスラング用法は日本語では珍しいです。「シュレッドする」も参照。
