Definition

누군가에게 직접적이거나 쌀쌀맞게 자리를 떠나라고 하거나 내보내는 것.

실제 문을 가리키는 것이 아니라, 사람을 자리에서 내쫓거나 해고할 때 쓰는 표현이다. 보통 간접적이지만 강한 느낌을 준다.

After the argument, the manager showed the door to the customer.
