শেখরা হলেন আরব সমাজে সম্মানিত নেতা বা প্রবীণ ব্যক্তি, যারা সাধারণত ধর্মীয়, রাজনৈতিক বা সামাজিক ক্ষমতায় থাকেন।

এটি মূলত পুরুষ নেতাদের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং আরব ও ইসলামী সংস্কৃতিতে বেশি প্রচলিত। দৈনন্দিন নেতাদের জন্য এই শব্দটি সাধারণ নয়।
