Definition
অগভীর জল বলতে নদী, হ্রদ বা সাগরের সেই জায়গাগুলো বোঝায়, যেখানে পানি কম গভীর।

সাধারণত বহুবচনে 'the shallows' কথা ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রকৃতি, ভ্রমণ বা মাছ ধরার প্রসঙ্গে বেশি শোনা যায়।
