Definition

কাউকে বা কিছুতে প্রচণ্ড কিন্তু চেপে রাখা রাগ হওয়া, অথবা কোনো তরল পদার্থের ফেনা ওঠা বা ফুটে ওঠা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'ফুঁসতে থাকা' সাধারণত প্রবল রাগ বা হতাশা চাপা দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটা মৃদু বিরক্তির জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না। 'ফুঁসতে থাকা রাগে' এরকম বাক্যে শোনা যায়।
