কিছু খুঁজে পাওয়ার জন্য সব জায়গায় খোঁজা, অনেক সময় ও পরিশ্রম ব্যয় করা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অনিয়মিত কথা বা লেখায় ব্যবহার হয়। বেশি জোরের সাথে বলে দেয় যে নিরন্তর আর সর্বত্র খোঁজা হয়েছে। 'for' দিয়ে 'search high and low for...' গঠন হয়ে থাকে।
