（主にお金や資源を）何とか苦労して集めること。多くは色々なところから少しずつ集める場合に使う。

主にカジュアルな場面で使い、主に「お金をかき集める」などの表現で用いられる。量が充分でない感じや苦労したニュアンスがある。「scratch」は文字通りの意味ではない。
