꾸중질책

Definition

누군가가 다른 사람의 잘못에 대해 화를 내거나 엄하게 말하는 것을 꾸중 또는 질책이라고 한다.

주로 윗사람이나 권위자가 아랫사람을 혼낼 때 사용. '꾸중을 듣다', '질책하다'와 같이 쓴다. 친구 사이에는 잘 쓰지 않음.

The teacher gave him a scolding for talking in class.

선생님이 수업 시간에 말해서 그에게 **꾸중**을 하셨다.
