Definition

서두르지 않고 편안하게, 여유 있게 걷는 것. 마치 산책하듯 걷는 느낌.

일상보다는 문학적이거나 묘사적인 상황에서 많이 사용됨. 'stroll'과 비슷하지만 좀 더 여유롭거나 자신감 있는 태도를 내포함. "sauntered down the street"와 같이 쓰임.

He sauntered into the room with a big smile.
