砂や砂浜で作る、おもに子供や大人が遊びで作る小さなお城のこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に子供の海遊び・砂遊びの場面でよく使われます。「砂の城を作る」という表現が定番です。比喩的な使い方はほとんどありません。
