주로 뉴스나 공식적인 자리에서 사용되며, 정치, 전쟁, 조직 관련 맥락에 자주 나온다. '산업 사보타주범', '적 파괴 공작원' 등의 표현이 쓰인다. 단순 장난에는 거의 쓰이지 않는다.
