"runoff" in Japanese
Definition
雨や雪どけ水が地表を流れる現象を雨水の流出と言います。また、選挙で決着がつかない場合に行う追加の選挙は決選投票です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
水の意味では天気や環境の文脈で使います。選挙の場合は『決選投票』と呼ばれ、スポーツなど他の文脈には通常使いません。
