「run to」は誰かや何かに素早く向かう、助けを求める、または金額などがある数に達するという意味です。実際に走る場合に限らず、急いで行動することも含みます。

人に助けを求める時や、金額などが特定の数に達する時によく使います。「run to mom」は母親を頼る意味です。文字通り走る場合は少ないです。
