很快離開某地，通常是為了逃避某人或某事，通常是跑著離開。有時也指突然離開而不通知別人。

口語化表達，通常指人很快跑開、逃走，也可以用來形容私奔（run off with someone）。不要與關於水流的 ‘runoff’ 混淆。
