物を探すために、乱雑に手を突っ込んで探すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'Rummaging' は手を使ってごちゃごちゃと探すイメージです。「drawerの中をごそごそ探す」など『探す』や『ごそごそ』を組み合わせます。丁寧ではなく雑な探し方を表します。
