Definition

何かを探すときに、引き出しやカバンなどの中の物を雑に動かしながら探すこと。急いでいたり、少し乱暴な感じがある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にカジュアルな場面で使い、ごちゃごちゃと慌てて探すニュアンスがあります。「丁寧に探す」ときには使いません。よくカバンや引き出し、箱の中などで使います。
