Rotina é a forma habitual de fazer algo com regularidade, muitas vezes pela mesma ordem ou à mesma hora. Pode referir-se a hábitos diários, processos de trabalho ou qualquer atividade feita de forma repetida e normal.

É muito usada no dia a dia: 'morning routine', 'daily routine', 'skincare routine'. Normalmente tem um tom neutro, mas, consoante o contexto, pode sugerir algo aborrecido ou previsível. 'Routine' também pode descrever algo comum ou habitual, como em 'a routine check' ou 'a routine task'.
