Definition

松脂は、松の木からとれる黄みがかった粘着質の物質で、主にバイオリンやチェロなど弦楽器の弓に塗って摩擦を高めるためや、工業用途で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

音楽用語としてバイオリンやビオラなどの弓に使うことが多いです。'rosin up the bow' とは弓に松脂を塗ること。食べ物で使う「resin」とは異なります。
