কোনো কারণে, যেমন ভয়, বিস্ময়, বা আঘাতে, আপনি একদম নড়তে না পারা বা এক জায়গায় স্থির হয়ে যাওয়া।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত 'rooted to the spot' বা 'rooted to the floor' রূপে আসে। 'rooted in' অর্থ ভিন্ন, ভুল করবেন না। যেকোনো সংবেদনশীল অবস্থা বোঝাতে বাক্যটিতে ব্যবহার করা যায়।
