Definition

ローラーは、回転して物を滑らかにしたり、ペンキを塗ったり、物を動かしやすくするために使う円筒状の道具や部品です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常「ローラー」はペンキ用（paint roller）、生地を伸ばす用（dough roller／めん棒）、髪を巻く用（hair roller）や機械部品などを指します。「ローラーコースター」（ジェットコースター）とは別です。

Examples

Use a roller to paint the wall.

壁を塗るときは**ローラー**を使ってください。

The dough is flat after using the roller.

**ローラー**を使った後は生地が平らになります。
