Definition

고기나 채소를 오븐이나 불 위에서 건조한 열로 요리하는 것. 장난스럽게 누군가를 놀리는 의미도 있음.

'roasting vegetables'는 채소를 굽는다는 뜻. 'roasting someone'은 익살스럽게 놀리거나 심하게 비판할 때도 사용됨. 유머 행사로서의 'roast'도 있음.
