Definition
批判や発言に対して即座に機知をもって返す言葉。フェンシングでは、相手の攻撃を防いだ直後の速い反撃のこと。

文学的・知的な場で多用され、日常会話ではあまり使われません。フェンシングでは専門用語として使います。
