Definition

石鹸や汚れ、残りかすを取り除くために、きれいな水ですばやく洗い流すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「rinse」は髪、口、食器、服などによく使われ、「wash」のあとに泡や汚れを流す意味があります。'rinse out'や'give it a rinse'などの表現で使われます。洗うほど強くありません。

Please rinse your hands before dinner.

夕食前に手を**すすいで**ください。

After you shampoo your hair, rinse it well.

シャンプーした後は髪をよく**すすいで**ください。
