何かを使った後に、水だけで軽くすすいで汚れや残ったものを落とすこと。食器や口などによく使われます。

「すすぐ」は水だけで行い、洗剤は使いません。コップや口など、軽く汚れを落とす時に使います。「’rinse out the cup’は水だけでゆすぐイメージです。」
