Definition

किसी चीज़ को जल्दी से पानी से साफ़ करना ताकि साबुन, गंदगी या बचा हुआ पदार्थ हट जाए। यह अक्सर अपने शरीर, हाथ, बर्तन या वस्तुओं को साबुन या सफाई उत्पादों के इस्तेमाल के बाद पानी से धोने के लिए कहा जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अनौपचारिक है, अक्सर शरीर, बर्तनों या वस्तुओं से साबुन या गंदगी हटाते समय इस्तेमाल होता है। 'rinse off the soap', 'rinse off your hands' जैसे वाक्यांश आम है। केवल 'rinse' की तुलना में 'rinse off' शेष पदार्थ हटाने पर ज़ोर देता है। वाक्य में अलग भी किया जा सकता है: 'rinse the mud off your shoes'।
