Definition

皮（rind）は果物やチーズなどの厚い外側の部分で、中身を守る役割があり、食べる前に取り除くことが多いです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に食べ物について使います（例：「オレンジの皮」「チーズの外皮」）。全部の皮が食べられるとは限りません。果物の一般的な「皮」には「peel」もあります。「rinds」は複数の種類や部分に使われます。
