霧氷や樹氷は、冬の朝などに外の物にできる薄い氷の結晶です。詩や科学的な文脈で使われる言葉です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『霧氷』や『樹氷』は普段の会話よりも詩や理科などで登場します。「covered in rime」は「霧氷に覆われた」などと訳されます。『rhyme』（押韻）と混同しないようにしましょう。
