以前に扱った問題や考えをもう一度考え直したり、見直したりすること。新たな視点や目的で行われることが多いです。

学術的や創作活動でよく使われ、「再検討した理論」のように主題や考えを新たに見直す時に用います。友人を訪ねるなどカジュアルな意味ではあまり使いません。
