Definition

কিছু করা বা সম্ভব হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে নিয়ম বা শর্ত দিয়ে কিছু সীমিত করে ফেলা। নিয়ন্ত্রণ আরোপের মাধ্যমে কিছু সীমান্তের মধ্যে রাখার কাজ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

মূলত নিয়ম, আইন বা প্রবেশাধিকার সীমাবদ্ধ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'restricting access', 'restricting movement' ইত্যাদি সংযোগে সাধারণ। 'limiting' থেকে বেশি কঠোর বা নিয়ন্ত্রিত বোঝায়।
